A human trial involved the taking of 500 milligrams of chrysin per day. Most of the individuals participating in the experiment didn’t experience significant side effects.
No toxic effect was observed either. Keep in mind that the standard supplementation dose of chrysin for adult men is set at 400 milligrams.

Other medicines that chrysin has been known to have a minor interaction with include pharmaceuticals that are changed by the liver (clozapine, fluvoxamine, haloperidol, olanzapine, propranolol, tacrine and zolmitripan) and glucuronidated drugs like acetaminophen, diazepam, digoxin, lorazepam, morphine and lovastatin.
